SUITE MESSIAH is WJO's third full album and features Erin Propp on vocals, all arrangements by WJO's own talented musicians (Richard Gillis, Jeff Presslaff and Richard Boughton) and the title work, Suite Messiah, is our own big band arrangement of three movements from Handel's Messiah. The other tunes on the album are big band arrangements of well-known and some lesser-known festive tunes.
The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra's 2014/15 season is loaded with exciting concerts, guests and of course Winnipeg’s hottest big band music. Tickets are available for purchase through the WJO Box Office at 204.632.5299, at Jazz Winnipeg, at McNally Robinson and at the door. Prices range from $35 for adults and $15 for anyone 30 years of age or younger.
