About
Bicycle Face is an indie-alt-pop duo formed by guitarist Ava Glendinning and keyboardist Theresa Thordarson. Combining intricate harmonies with lyrics that are often delightfully idiosyncratic, the band's original songs cover topics ranging from ambivalent fairy-tale heroines to lost love to computer viruses intent on world domination. Formed in early 2013, the duo has played under various monikers over the past two years, including two Christmas shows under the name Myrrhvana. Performing for the first time under their new name and with all new material, Bicycle Face is excited to be sharing their music on the Sam's Place stage.
