The Asante Children's Choir from Uganda will be performing with The Winnipeg Youth Chorus!
The FREE concert will be a spectacular collaboration of two diverse groups of children who share a love of music Friday Feb 13 at 7:30, at the Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Avenue.
The Winnipeg Youth Chorus strives to provide unique opportunities for young singers to experience eclectic music through the combination of choral excellence, culture and movement.
The Asante Children's Choir is dedicated to spreading love, hope and joy while raising awareness for the desperate plight of orphans and other vulnerable children. Their colourful clothing, pounding drums and sweet voices demonstrate their hope and dream for a brighter future.
