Rock for Dimes, March of Dimes' national battle of the bands fundraiser will be taking place for the first time in Winnipeg, helping local families living with disabilities.
The Healthy Strokes, 5 Shades of Grey, Apollo 5 and Frostbite will be doing battle. 
The emcee for the evening will be CITI FM On-Air Personality Howard Mansheim, and the judges for the event will be musician and producer Chris Burke-Gaffney, musician Mark Reeves, Music Therapist Katy Jacobs, and Movement Centre of Manitoba Conductor Chris Martin.
Five bands comprised of local amateur musicians will take to the stage in front of music industry professionals in support of Conductive Education and the Movement Centre of Manitoba. 
Tickets are $20 and can be found online at www.rockfordimes.ca/winnipeg or can be purchased at the door.
