Grace Hrabi (Free @ 7:30)

Whether staring at a blank page in her journal, or quietly piecing together a melody at her ever-so-slightly out of tune piano, Grace Hrabi is an old soul who finds pure joy in the creative process. Her sweet and emotional stories have been shaped by the people who have come into her life and what is left behind when they go. Her rich and dulcet voice effortlessly fuses jazz, folk and pop styles.

Grace Hrabi's original music, although heavily influenced, is not defined by her jazz background and formal training. Instead, she approaches each new composition with an open mind (and ears) and lets it come to life naturally. With a performance style inspired by both the past and present Grace Hrabi is sure to leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

Performing with Grace are fellow University of Manitoba Faculty of Music graduates Quintin Bart on Bass and Jesse Popeski on Guitar.

The trio's debut album "Afraid of Heights" was released in June 2014 and is now available online.
