Skender Sefa and Michael Daher formed the Manitoba Classical Guitar Duo in 2004. Both Skender and Michael are well known local professional classical guitarists who have plenty of experience performing as soloists and in various chamber ensembles. The Manitoba Classical Guitar Duo's first CD recording "MCGD - Recital"was recently released on the GFI Masterworks label. Skender and Michael are also featured performers on a new chamber music CD released by Marquis Records in 2008 titled "Sefarad - The Music of Sid Robinovitch" in which they perform works by renown Winnipeg composer Sid Robinovitch. Skender and Michael teach classical guitar performance at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Music Preparatory Division and at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts and are actively involved in the community as Members of the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society.
