Born and raised in Winnipeg, Stu learnt to play drums at age of ten. He played the Rock n' Roll days of the Sixties but was raised on Country music and always felt that he had more in himself than the beat. Getting tired of carrying all those drums from gig to gig, Stu picked the guitar as his next instrument and began to teach himself to play and sing. He made his first guitar out of a piece of wood and cardboard and although it was not real it was the beginning. Stu has written and recorded his first of three CD,'s Roads Traveled, and is in the studio recording his second CD, BLUE , released Spring 2008 the latest cd THE GREAT METIS NATION .
