PERFORMERS
Southern Country
TUES. August 11
Princess Park
Plays a blend of Country (both classis and modern) as well as Old Tyme music. Having fiddle, accordion, banjo, mandolin and guitars provides the opportunity for a wide variety of music. They are guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your feet out on the dance floor! The band has a lead vocalist plus two additional singers. There are also plenty of instruments to keep you entertained.
Swamp Gas
TUES. August 18
Princess Park
A folk, east coast, Irish music band, has been playing together for 13 years throughout much of Manitoba. Out of Neepawa, the guys originally got together to sing a tribute song for a retiring staff member and have since built a repertoire of well over 100 covers. With 8 different instruments and 4 vocalists, their audiences enjoy a range of sounds and tunes, both familiar and perhaps no so. Members include Greg Nelson, Blair Chapman, Ron Nordstrom and Lorne Lagimodiere.
