A concert morphs into a scary movie! Nerdy Mr. Kirby, from the National Institute for Children’s Entertainment (N.I.C.E.), doesn’t believe in the magical power of music. But when the conductor waves his magic baton, strange things begin to happen. Kids and adults alike delight in Dan Kamin’s antics as he is “haunted” by the timeless music of Grieg, Leroy Anderson, Strauss and others. Dan Kamin is part Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, mixed with Marcel Marceau, Andy Kaufman and Steve Martin. It adds up to a quirky, charming and brilliant performance by a Pittsburgh man who has coached Hollywood stars in physical comedy.
