A bittersweet commemoration of the closure of the Frame Arts Warehouse and CSPACE Gallery, this contemporary mural incorporates themes of loss, longing, shadow, and memory, while still celebrating this city, its local art scene, and the power of collaboration.

As with all street art, the existence of this work is ephemeral; however, in this case, it is even more so, as the demolition of CSPACE Gallery is potentially slated for sometime in the next handful of years. Despite its potential demise, this mural will live on forever in the memory of those who encounter it and also via technologies such as photography, social media, and public art apps. Even if a wrecking ball crashes through this work, vestiges will be left behind— ghosts that will continue to haunt the site, contributing to the history and future of street art in Winnipeg.
