About
Nothing transmits the urge to sing more than Handel’s Messiah. The WSO tradition continues, as the special glow of the season comes alive with Handel’s matchless sense of timing and drama, where the music’s memorable path from darkness to light never fails to inspire. The Hallelujah Chorus, the ongoing flow of beautiful arias, ensembles and magnificent choruses have made Messiah immortal. We welcome a splendid cast of soloists under the direction of Case Scaglione, the New York Philharmonic’s new associate conductor, in his WSO debut.
