Antonio Carlos Jobim is more than just the creator of The Girl from Ipanema, the jazz classic recorded by Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto and Joao Gilberto.

Given his extensive body of music celebrating Brazilian culture, its people and its natural wonders Jobim is rightfully considered a giant among 20th Century composers.

Drawing from Brazil’s vibrant arts and folklore, his songs sparked a deep love of Bossa Nova and have been covered by thousands of musicians in all genres
