"Out of the wilds of Bowness in Northwest Calgary comes Peter & the Wolves, a fresh-faced rockabilly outfit shaped by their forefathers’ rowdy, unstoppable urge to shake it up. The Wolves were playing the Calgary bar scene while half its members were still in high school. Rockabilly with an infectious R&B groove, heart full of twang ’n’ soul, four-on-the-floor rock ’n’ roll wrapped around Howlin’ Pete’s honey-coated vocals and little boy smile that leaves them cryin’ in the aisles." “Papa’s Goin’ Out of Town”, the band’s follow up release to their 2015 debut “Here Comes Peter & the Wolves”, was produced by Scott Nickless of the Ramblin’ Ambassadors and features album art by Tom Bagley.

Colour By Numbers is anything but by the numbers, the quartet of indie rockers from Winnipeg, Manitoba craft a sound layered with vocal harmonies, catchy hooks and pop sensibility. Their influences are rooted deep in many genres of music, from modern Canadian rock like the Arkells to the funk and soul of Motown and even some laid back, folky Neil Young tunes. The lineup sees Jared Adams and Alex Kozub sharing lead vocal with Mike McDermid on drums while multi-instrumentalist Jesse Millar will jump from guitar to synth to percussion all in one song.
