About

Dirtyphonics storms into 2015 with the new EP "Write Your Future" set for a February release on Dim Mak Records. This after spending 2014 proving that their signature brand of genre-bending bass music has a place on the biggest stages across the globe. Comprised of dynamic French DJ/Producers Charly, Pitchin and Julien, Dirtyphonics conquered festival crowds at UMF Miami, EDC Las Vegas, TomorrowWorld, Mysteryland, and so many more. Meanwhile their continent-spanning tour with Excision took the Dirtyphonics phenomenon to all corners of North America. Recently, they completed their Endless Summer Tour spanning Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Shattering expectations with a blend of electronic, heavy metal, drum & bass, trap, dubstep and electro, it's a sound the guys come by honestly, having cut their teeth in the Parisian metal scene and the electro French Touch 1.0. The evolution of Dirtyphonics has unleashed a forward-thinking bass music powerhouse that has made its name on defying labels and limitations.

First crash-landing into dance music's consciousness in chart-topping fashion, their 2008 debut single "French Fuck" became a Beatport #1 Hit. The group quickly became a hot commodity in the remix world, lending their talents to tracks by the likes of Skrillex, Marilyn Manson, Crystal Method, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Borgore, Nero, and Linkin Park. In 2013 Dirtyphonics released their debut album "Irreverence" through Dim Mak Records, which boasted such marquee collaborators as Steve Aoki, Foreign Beggars, and Modestep. As the group readies it's highly anticipated follow up EP "Write Your Future," expect the unexpected, but know it'll be DIRTY

FuntCase (aka James Hazell) has been in the dubstep scene for a hot minute but already making a very solid impact on the scene, with a medley of ranged beats capable to kick the wig off of any head!

Since starting his dubstep creations back in July 09, FuntCase has thrown some of the most filthy, and most catchy tunes out there, causing his popularity to rise massively in such a short amount of time.

In the 6 years of his production career, previously creating Drum and Bass, he had numerous releases under the name 'DJ Dose' but never did he realise the opportunity of the dubstep scene, when he made his first tracks 'gorilla flex' and 'make our day' as a joke and for mates, who constantly suggested he try and make the style.

Now a new addition to the Circus Records crew it seems his hard work has paid off, visiting numerous nights around the UK and the world in such areas as France, Belgium and Romania, with talks of tours further out from the UK being planned.

Of course, no-one rises this fast without the help of the big heads within the scene and FuntCase is supported by some of the biggest, With the likes of N-Type, Hatcha, Pendulum, Chase and Status, Rusko, Crissy Criss, Mista Jam, Trolley Snatcha, Datsik, Excision and more, the future looks very bright for this new and exciting talent.

Habstrakt’s distinctive production style and sound has seen him remix the likes of Skrillex & Diplo, MUST DIE!, Barely Alive, Kill The Noise & Feed Me over the year, alongside to his own original tracks. Signed to the mighty Never Say Die Records, his unique sound cleverly bridges an array of bass genres, flirting with house, future bass and dubstep. Going into 2015, Habstrakt counts DJ Snake, Tchami, Modestep and Jack Ü amongst his supporters and having played extensively across Europe and Australia, he is now preparing for a debut US tour. Habstrakt’s ‘Cool Cats Never Die’ EP, his first release of 2015, gives the frenchman an opportunity to showcase his versatility, and cleverly blends genres between heavy impact dubstep and dynamic, groove-ridden house.
