Sky has never really been a quiet guy.

Since his childhood, he would be sent to his room or kicked out of class because of his incessant singing and all-around big mouth.

This guiding trait led him to a career in radio announcing, which furthermore led him to move to rural Manitoba for work. After months of missing his band and enduring the quietness of rural life, Sky picked up a beaten up guitar from his grandfather. After writing and performing his first few songs, Sky became infatuated with making music.

Sky has since moved back to the city but brought a little country back with him. He performs as a solo act as well as explores folk rock and western sounds in his band Two Socks.

Something of an open book, Sky doesn't shy away from vulnerability in his songwriting and takes pride in letting his sound emote. ​Raised on an acreage a few miles from the city of Winnipeg, this busking singer/songwriter pulls inspiration from artists like Ray Lamontagne, Connor Oberst, and the Avett Brothers.
