Marc Wencelius is a French swing guitarist specializing in jazz manouche and world music.

Alongside working on projects as a composer, interpreter, and soloist, he has also collaborated with many internationally renowned artists (Tomas Jensen, Aly Keita, Christine Tassan, Bogdan Gumenyuk, Denis Chang, Louis and the Royal Pickles, etc…). Marc is currently working on his latest creation “Les Nuits Gitanes” or, “Gypsy Nights”, in Montreal, in partnership with Les Productions Nuits d’Afrique.  Marc’s musical depth extends beyond the realm of jazz, seamlessly fusing blues, folk, and world music from Latin America to Africa, with his own personal French touch.

His fast-paced and melodic phrasings transport the audience to the world of caravans and nomadic life.
