Odder than The Otters:
Odder than the Otters float somewhere between catchy skiffle chug-a-lug and melodious psychedelic. Their foot-stompin’ folk-rock pays tribute to The Band, Neil Young, Shakey Graves and Harry Nilsson. It’s like the raw jangle of the Violent Femmes smoothed by Elliott Smith textures. There’s tingly blues guitar, snappy banjo and even a cowbell or two. The Otters’ songs could be a river’s soundtrack—they hit home then pull you downtstream to otherworldly travels.

Two Socks: 
These rambunctious folk-rockers from Winnipeg, Canada known as Two Socks began as a duo with singer/songwriter Skylar Bouchard and guitarist Daniel Simoes to showcase Bouchard's songs. They grew to a four-piece band with the addition of longtime friends, Gerald Bulera and Alex Mackinnon, on drums and bass, and are now a full-blown folk-rock party band. Whether it's a crowded beach-side in Thailand or packed pub in Winnipeg, Two Socks gets the folks up and dancing every time. While their laid-back groove swings like Alabama Shakes, Bahamas, or The Avett Brothers, it's the bands upbeat personality that connects with the fans. making everyone want to join in, and sing along to songs they just learned. At the 2016 Brewno Awards, the perennial crowd-pleasers really took the party to the next level of good clean fun, prompting many to ask organizers, "who is this band?"
