BYOH returns to Winnipeg and the Good Will Social Club for the 2016-2017 season...this year co-curated by Mike Furnish and Chris MAMA Bauer. Audience members are required to bring their own headphones in order to listen to the artists in real time as they perform. Events will take place, in general, on every 3rd Sunday afternoon of the month.

#1 - Sunday November 20th will featured the dazzling talents of the following artists:

Brett Parenteau 

Freaking Snap - Keeping the freak in frequency, the varied and eclectic music of FreakingSnap is exclusively improvised on a Korg Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer. Recordings range from ambient soundscapes to disjointed rhythms cloaked in sparse minimalism or densely layered audio anarchy. FreakingSnap is equally inspired by Michael Giacchino's score for the TV show Lost, as well as artists like Autechre and Oval, Brian Eno's Ambient records and The Boredoms. FreakingSnap is the solo musical project of Winnipeg artist Chris Friesen and also a Scorpio.


Karl Marx's Beard - combines guitar, loops and effects to make intricate improvised songs. 

No admission, but donations gratefully accepted and will be split equally amongst the performers. COME ONE, COME ALL...but seating and headphone connections are limited at each event.
