Remember all those years of sweaty Fridays and New Year's Eve parties? Remember the colour-coded tights and earrings? Remember when you all danced so hard the floor started to flex and the glasses hanging on the downstairs bar broke?

Wanna do it again?

THE RETRO RHYTHM REVIEW returns! After five years, and a diaspora into the far corners of the global music scene, an all-star Winnipeg cast reunites and gets the formative “family” band back together. Band leader/traffic-director/bass-player Jonny Moonbeam (aka Daniel Jordan of Red Moon Road) and soul-singing-sisters “The Satellites” - Heitha “Sol Satellite” Forsyth (Sol James), Rayannah “Rocket Satellite” Kroeker (Rayannah) and Jacqueline “Jax Satellite” Harding belt it out with beat-machine Michael “Mungo Moon” Jordan (Royal Canoe, The Liptonians) on Drums, organ-donor Alex Campbell (Sweet Alibi, The JD Edwards Band ) on Keys, Guit-Ariel Posen (The Bros. Landreth, The New Lightweights) and the tightest horn section this side of the Tower of Power - Trumpet-Monk-of-Funk Simon Christie (Dirty Catfish Brass Band), Saxophonist Niall Bakkestad (Faux Pas Funk) and Master Trombonist Jared Castles. The RETRO RHYTHM REVIEW reunites with the music of the 60s and 70s played by kids from the 80s. They dare you not to dance.
