Take Five is an eclectic group of musicians consisting of flutist Mikyla Jensen, clarinetist Jinyu Chen, saxophonist David Oschefski, cellist Camila Dragonetti, and soprano McKenzie Warriner. All music students at the University of Manitoba, the group was brought together by their performance skills class, for which their final project was to organize a recital. Along with collaborative pianist Lisa Rumpel, Take Five will be performing a diverse range of solo and chamber repertoire, from Beethoven to a work by Winnipeg composer Tristan Zaba. Take Five is excited to showcase the performance skills they have learned at Sam's Place!
