Mikayla is 20 year old singer/songwriter from Winnipeg MB Canada who taught herself to play guitar at the age of 14. She began writing songs shortly thereafter and has been a mainstay on the Winnipeg music scene since.
She has performed at the Winnipeg Folk Festival young performers program two summers in a row as well as renowned Winnipeg venues The Park Theater and The Ellice Theatre.
The Great Canadian Song Contest and the Landmark Battle of the Bands both saw Mikayla reach the finals. She currently has 10 songs completed for her as yet untitled upcoming release.
Mikayla is an energetic and enigmatic performer capable of capturing and holding an audience’s attention. Her songs contain memorable hooks, melodies, and lyrics that stay with the listener long after show’s end.
Mikayla is a well-rounded player and songwriter guaranteed to set the music world on fire.
