On January ‘1919’, the West End Cultural Centre presents ‘Ode To Beck at the WECC’.
A group of musicians from some of Winnipeg’s most exciting and groundbreaking bands including Brian James, Bobby Desjarlais, Sweet Alibi, members of Royal Canoe and the Truly Richards have come together to celebrate a long history of collaboration and musical audacity by paying tribute to Beck’s eclectic and often self re-inventing catalogue of poignant hits.

The 10+ piece band will cover songs from Beck’s debut album, ‘Mellow Gold’ to his 2017 release of epic dance anthems, ‘Colors’ and every album in between while professional dancers interpret the sic grooves and epic ballads gifted to us by Becks courage and brilliance.

The night will also include a special, timely set by JP Bo Bo Bowie and a Throwback to Love Ballad Duets by Justin Lacroix & Kerji Stephens.

The night is sponsored by Little Brown Jug’s 1919 Belgian pale ale in honor of the date and Beck’s sophisticated, yet easy drinking style.

Tickets are only $15 in advance and are available at West End Cultural Centre and Eventbrite.com

*In partnership with Little Brown Jug (1919)
