The meagan&amy piano/violin duo hails from Saskatchewan, but first met at McGill’s Schulich School of Music where they began their musical partnership in 2011. In their solo careers, each is a recipient of the Sylva Gelber Music Foundation Award, and Amy is a past winner of the E-Gré Competition. Their Virtuosi Concert is part of the first ever “Pan-Canadian Partnership” recital tour to over 40 Canadian cities sponsored by Jeunesses Musicales, Debut Atlantic and Prairie Debut. ” Their collaborative musicianship combined with their very accessible, yet audacious repertoire made an immediate impression.” (Danièle Leblanc, Executive and Artistic Director of Jeunesses Musicales Canada)
