June 27 celebrates Canadian Multiculturalism Day. It celebrates diversity and how it enriches the country. Canada takes pride in ensuring that all citizens value and preserve their identities, pass on their heritage to their children while enjoying a sense of belonging within the Canadian society. Throughout Canada, there will be several events that will showcase this wealth of cultures that has collectively created what the country is today. For the Filipino community, the celebration will involve a virtual get-together that weaves and shares its culture through music and the arts. TFC in partnership with Philippine Legacy and Cultural Alliance (PLACA), a non-profit organization based in Toronto, will host a two-hour program that will be made available on TFC cable, IPTV and TFC.tv, TFC Canada Official and PLACAtv Facebook pages and MYXtv cable, satellite.
