Winnipeg Songwriters Semi-Finalists in International Songwriting Competition

Winnipeg songwriters Greg Lowe and Jack Semple have been named as semi-finalists in the 2004 International Songwriting Competition. The pair ranked in the Blues category with their submission, �Fly Home Baby.� Lowe�s band, The Ministers of Cool, took top prize in last year�s Winterlights Song Contest for �Gotta Get This Place,� a prize that saw Lowe fly to Ottawa to accept his distinction.
