Balanced Turns 5

Local electronic label Balanced Records is celebrating its fifth birthday on April 28 with a show at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Performers for the night include DJ Brace, Rob Coles, Kasm, Spencer K, Hunnicutt, Billy Rockwell and Dr. P. Fans of electronic music also have a chance to catch live sets featuring Fascade@137db, Equanim with Young Lungs and Solidaze accompanied by Sarah Michaelson and video projections courtesy of Selectavision. Fascade, aka Waylon Wityshyn, is taking the birthday party as an opportunity to release a promo CD entitled Previously Deleted Scenes. You can get a free copy of the CD by emailed Fascade through his MySpace profile link at www.myspace.com/fascade137db. The CD features remixes and mash-ups as well as previously unreleased material.
