Canadas hardcore outfit Comeback Kid, days after finishing their North American tour with Gorilla Biscuits, will be back on the road in support of the upcoming co-headlined Bad Religion / Dropkick Murphys tour across Canada. Beginning September 16 in Halifax, NS, Comeback Kid will join all 14 dates, finishing September 30 in Vancouver, BC.

For years Comeback Kid has toured extensively in Japan, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, The US and Canada. Determined to find time to release a follow-up to 2005s Wake the Dead, they have scheduled time at the Blasting Room this fall, where Comeback Kid will again be working with famed producers Bill Stevenson (Descendents, All) and Jason Livermore (NOFX). Comeback Kids 3rd full-length album will be released in 2007.

Comeback Kid Formed in 2002 and released their debut CD Turn It Around (Facedown Records) the following year. Their 2005 album Wake the Dead (Victory / Smallman) has sold over 100,000 copies and was voted Alternative Press's 100 bands to know in 2005, Chart Magazines top 100 albums of 2005, favorite local CD in Uptown 2006, and nominated for both Best Hardcore Group, and the CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award at the 2006 Canadian Music Awards. In 2006, lead singer Scott Wade left the band to pursue other interests and guitarist Andrew Neufeld took over vocals. The current line-up features Andrew Neufeld (vocals), Jeremy Hiebert (guitar), Kyle Profeta (drums), and Kevin Call (bass).
