Bootlegger's Generation B Competition

Winnipeg's Katelyn Dawn has been selected from thousands of applicants across the country to represent Manitoba in a national-running contest for Bootlegger. Katelyn was chosen for Bootleggers Generation B contest by showcasing her strong commitment to her community, and personal focus and accomplishments in her career as a musician. The competition is run by a voting system set up online at www.bootlegger.com. Official voting will run from September 13th through October 11th. The winner will receive a $10,000 prize. The competition is set up to help support young achievers accomplish their goals.

To vote, you may go to any participating Bootlegger store and ask for a voting ballot. This ballot will have a voting code on it. You then go to www.bootlegger.com/genb and click on Show Me the Candidates click on Katelyn Dawns profile and input your code into the voting box. (This also enters you in a chance to win a $500 shopping spree)

Not only will the prize help jump-start Katelyns music career; it will also provide an opportunity to donate 10% of her winnings to help raise money for a school in Uganda through a local charity. With her winnings, she is planning to put on a fund-raising concert to help raise money for this charity as well.
