Nods hit the Grand Slam

Winnipeg-based band The Nods have hit the �Grand Slam� by getting invited to three of the Music Industry�s main events!

In early March the band will be leaving for Toronto to play their Canadian Music Week showcase at the Hard Rock Live on Young Street, Friday March 7th at 10PM.

The band then heads off to Austin Texas to play at The Red Gorilla Music Festival. The band will be playing the Dizzy Rooster on legendary 6th Street in Austin on Thursday, March 13th at 9PM. For those of you who are going to be attending SXSW, the Red Gorilla takes place at the same time�so come on by and see the guys play.

You can catch up with The Nods in April at one of the most premier music conference events� MUSEXPO, which takes place in Los Angeles. The Nods have been invited to play at the famous House of Blues on the Sunset Strip for some of the industry�s upper crust!

The Nods, coming off a very successful radio campaign to US college radio (seeing them added to over 200 stations throughout the US), are hoping to parlay some of that success into a strong Canadian college radio campaign and then a tour of both Canada and the United States.
