The Civil Disobedients Release New CD September 6TH, 2008

WINNIPEG, MB�Hard-rock outfit, The Civil Disobedients, will be releasing their first full-length album, Sell Your Soul Until You Can Buy It Back, at The Zoo on September 6th, 2008. Joining them will be Winnipeg heroes Xplicit and Lady Venom, as well as the offensive styling of J Williamez and freak-show, Minor.

Sell Your Soul Until You Can Buy It Back, is the first release by TCD featuring the already popular �War Inside� and the chart-topping single �No Matter What,� which spent three straight weeks on FREQ107 as the #1 most requested song and has made POWER97�s Class of 2008.

The Civil Disobedients are former members of notable Winnipeg bands: The Velvet Pill, Tequila Mockingbird and Pretty Train Crash. Their music is a refreshing mix of aggressive metal, melodic rock, and lyrics with a social conscience that actually makes you think. The band consists of Jeremy Williamez (guitar and lead vocals), Doug Darling (bass and vocals), Jonny Kirouac (guitar and vocals), and Troy �Bot� Strattner (drums).

The band has been playing together for just over a year, but have already built a solid and loyal fan-base, and have established themselves among Winnipeg�s top rock acts. This is due in part to the band�s music, but also to their insanely energetic live show.
