Conifera Records offers up The Winnipeg Parks and Recreation Authority, an 18-song sampler of Winnipeg artists. The CD was designed as a portrait of the current Winnipeg music scene, however the main focus is on brand new bands that have not had the same level of exposure that other Winnipeg artists have enjoyed. Not all the bands are brand new, however, The CD has some Winnipeg favouries such as Mike Trike and Blueprint Gallery, as well as Beefdonut, which is the pseudonym of Joel Klaverkamp of the Hummers.The CD is the third local compilation put together by Conifera Records.
