Local pop band Quinzy is set to release its debut album pleasebabypleasebabybabybabyplease. Recorded in Winnipeg at Unison
Studios with the loving help of local producer/engineer Scott Stewart, industry insiders have described the album as "Weezer meets The Beatles, then goes out for drinks with Ben Folds Five and crashes
at Wilco's place." Howard Redekopp (The New Pornographers, Tegan and Sara) mixed it from Vancouver's Mushroom Studios with Joao Carvalho (Hawksley Workman, Sarah Slean) mastering it. Grammy-nominated artist Jesse LeDoux did some drawings for the album.
