Produced by Dale Penner at Paradise Alley Productions in Winnipeg, Take Me To The Pilot’s sophomore EP What Makes You takes on a more matured pop-rock sound contributed to the band spending much of the last two years on the road honing their musical skills. Tracks like ‘Melody’, ‘Baby, We’re Gonna Be Rich’ and debut single ‘What About The Time’ showcase the band’s undying energy and enthusiasm for massive hooks while ‘Carry You Back’ serves as a reminder that TMTTP can do more than just pump you up. ‘Travelling Heart’ continues that trend picking up where fan favorite ‘Green Eyes’ (from their 2010 debut) left off by explaining that being away from the one you love can be tough, but knowing that no matter where things take you that you will always be there for one another.
