The Chess Club is a dynamic pair of guitarists from the Canadian Prairies where the long winters leave little else to do but stay home and play your guitar. Jack Semple of Regina and Greg Lowe of Winnipeg are veteran musicians who have much in common. They are virtuoso guitarists, and both toured with Toronto’s Premiere R&B band “The Lincolns”. Dubbed “the chess club” by the late saxophonist and longtime friend Earl Seymour, the two are anything but square. Enjoy the sounds of these two talented lads from the heartland.

Produced by: Semple & Lowe
Mastered by: Rob Bryanton

Jack's guitar is mixed left and Lowe's right.

Daniel Koulack plays double bass on Mona Lisa, Yipti Hootie, and Spanish Harlem.

Electric Bass by Greg Lowe.

All tunes written by Greg Lowe and Jack Semple, and published by Singasemplesong and Big Cheese Publishing (SOCAN), except Mona Lisa (Evans/Livingston) and Spainish Harlem (Jerry Leiber/Phil Spector).
