Written by Jacob Gorban and his Six Thousand Miles bandmate, Michael Starr, "Oh Dear World" invites the listener on an emotional and introspective journey inward. Influenced by progressive giants like Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater, the song moves between the clean melancholy and the heavy sound of distorted guitars for a unique sonar palette.
