MusicWorks Fall Schedule Coming Soon

With fall just around the corner, Manitoba Music is getting ready to go back to school with a brand spanking new slate of MusicWorks, Professional Development Workshops for the Music Industry.

MusicWorks is a leading source of information and training for musicians and music industry in Manitoba. Manitoba Music teams up with music industry experts to provide workshops, panels, and one-on-one mentoring, covering all areas of the music business. 

Topics covered this fall will include festival talent buying, step-by-step licensing, music managment, marketing releases in the post-album age, an artist-team case study, a demo listening session, and a bird's eye view of a colaborative songwriting session. 

We're also launching 'The DIY Series' - a new set of events for new Manitoba Music members and those wanting a refresher on music industry fundamentals. With topics such as bio writing, social media, pitching to media, touring, and planning an album release, this series is sure to give you the foundational info you need to jump start your career.
