Government of Canada Announces Support for Manitoba Music's Indigenous and Francophone Music Business Development Programming
We were honoured to host an announcement on August 1 by MP Robert-Falcon Ouellette on behalf of Western Economic Development Canada of funding for several Manitoba-based projects, including our Indigenous and Francophone music business development programs.
Thank you to Dr. Winston Wuttannee for starting this morning’s announcement in a good way.
Thank you to the Canadian Government and Western Economic Diversification for this support. The Canadian Government has been an incredible partner with Manitoba Music and with organizations and associations in Manitoba and across Western Canada in building and diversifying our thriving economy here in the west.
This investment allows us to offer new programming to increase the business capacity of Indigenous and Francophone music entrepreneurs, bolster industry activity, and support these innovative artists and music companies from across Western Canada as they reach beyond borders.
