Presented with Manitoba Arts Network

Song placement within film, television, advertising, and video games has gained a foothold as one of the primary revenue streams for artists today. Artists big and small are enjoying the financial and marketing benefits, but many don’t know how music placement deals work. This panel will discuss how to properly shop your material to capitalize on these opportunities, discuss what gets placed and why, and cover the hot topic of payments.

Registration
Registration is $25 for members of Manitoba Arts Network and Manitoba Music, $35 for non-members. Payment can be made at the registration desk at Gimli's Lakeview Resort (cash or cheque only).

Abour Manitoba Showcase Contact
Manitoba Arts Network’s annual Showcase event is an exciting weekend conference of performance showcases, professional development,  industry seminars, visual and literary arts, meals, forums, networking, and contact room. Manitoba Showcase Contact 2013 will take place in Gimli, October 17 to 20. Representatives from arts presenting organizations attend Showcase to preview acts and meet artists they may like to bring to their own communities.  Manitoba Arts Network coordinates block booked tours and one- off performances with interest generated at the annual Showcase event.
