Funding
Canada Council for the Arts | Access Support
Access Support funds individual applicants who self-identify as Deaf, having disabilities or living with mental illness, as well as groups and organizations that dedicate the majority of their resources towards supporting these communities. This supplementary grant provides a contribution towards costs for specific services and supports required to carry out a project funded through a Canada Council program.
FACTOR | Accessibility Support Fund
Accessibility Support Fund helps applicants hire service providers to help them overcome any disability-related barriers within the FACTOR application process and their project funding.
Manitoba Accessibility Fund
The Manitoba Accessibility Fund (MAF) provides one-time, project-based grants to help municipalities, non-profit organizations and businesses in Manitoba to remove barriers, create awareness and support compliance with The Accessibility for Manitobans Act and its standards.

If you have received or are applying for a Manitoba Arts Council (MAC) grant and are D/deaf or living with a disability, or you represent a D/deaf and disability arts/cultural group or organization, you can apply for financial assistance to help cover the costs of disability-related services and supports necessary to complete your project.
