The Winnipeg Folk Festival is pleased to announce the Folk in the City Concert Series, year-round programming presented at venues across Winnipeg, including the Park Theatre, the Burton Cummings Theatre, and the West End Cultural Centre. The series features past festival performers alongside new artists whose style and spirit will resonate with festival audiences.

Georgia Harmer is known for her ethereal voice and lyricism. She has emerged as one of Canada’s most compelling voices in indie music. Her songs display a vast emotional range and striking vulnerability. Harmer’s upcoming sophomore album, Eye of the Storm, will be released this summer and showcases an evolution in her songwriting. Her debut album, Stay in Touch, captivated audiences and garnered praise from publications like Stereogum and SPIN. We cannot wait to welcome her back to Winnipeg!
