About

On Thursday, Sept. 3rd, Pipe & Hat artists The Revival, Sc Mira, and The Noble Thiefs, with special guests Dick Lizard, Kieran West & His Buffalo Band and Max Osawa Jazz Ensemble will join together for a night of music in honour of Alex “Dee” Danyliuk at The Pyramid Cabaret.

Proceeds from the event will go towards The Alex Danyliuk Foundation, whose goal is to raise $50,000 and award $2,200 worth of scholarships annually, over 22 years, to young people who are passionate about, and are pursuing studies in music. Hosted by Travis MacLean. We will once again have a "tweener microphone set-up" for guest artists to perform in between the bands.
Looking forward to a great night of music, peace, love, remembrance and gratitude.
Doors open at 7:00pm. See you there. Keep shining.

Advance tickets are now available at: Music Trader - Into the Music - Soul Survivors.

The Alex Danyliuk Story:
Alex was a passionate drummer, musician and founding member of Winnipeg band, The Revival. Alex passed away on April 12, 2013 at the age of 22 while jogging through Vimy Ridge Memorial Park. Alex had Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, an extra electrical pathway in his heart that causes arrhythmias and tachycardias. Alex died from Sudden Cardiac Death due to WPW before he could be treated.
