Live local music is on the menu for Snack Sessions, Manitoba Music’s new music video series. Streamed via Facebook Live, the pilot project is set to feature four buzz-worthy emerging Manitoba acts playing some delicious tunes from the Manitoba Music environment, fueled by some iconic local nibbles and sips. Music fans can also get to know the performers with in-depth band profiles on manitobamusic.com.

Lanikai brings their indie soul/pop sound to the November 15 session. Featuring lead singer and songwriter Marti Sarbit (Imaginary Cities), the band’s first, self-titled offering has been turning heads with its gorgeous, poignant pop music, including a Western Canadian Music Award nod for Pop Artist of the Year, and recent spots at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Jazz Fest, Canada Day at The Forks, and more.
