The daytime time programming will take place all throughout the church. It will comprise of instructional workshops in cartooning, crankie-making, shadow puppetry, among other forms of visual art. There will also be workshops on many acoustic instruments such as fiddle, banjo, guitar, step dancing, harmony singing, and so much more.
Also during the day we will have feature sessions with songwriters in the round, a silent movie showcase, with local musicians playing the soundtrack they create, live, as well as concerts, and demonstrations.
On Sunday the daytime programming will feature the “Open Crank” where festival attendees can get up with festival musicians to perform their Crankie that was made over the weekend, or in the last year.
