Let's do something. Stay safe in your void, and I'll stay in mine. Let's sing the songs we should be singing together at the Burt. Let's take those covid purchased instruments and put em to use. We are in deep, and I can't bear to do nothing. So join me December 18 at 8 PM CST via Side Door, and we'll have the house party I wrote about in Sing O' Holy Night. A sacred night where we would gather in Fred Penner's living room a couple days before Christmas, play whatever instruments we had, and sang into the cold dark night. I need this. You may need this. I'll share stories about the songs, the show, and if you have questions, I'll answer. Side Door uses the Zoom platform and you can choose to be seen and bring your party scene to us, or sit back and watch with your camera off. Every ticket purchase comes with a link to download all the lyrics and chords to my holiday songs, so you won't be in the dark. I get that everything feels heavy, and I couldn't agree more. But I'm on board to play music for 5 people to 500. Even if you can't make it out, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We will get through this and make it out the other side. $5 from every ticket will go to the Christmas Cheer Board, and the show is presented by The Winnipeg Folk Festival and Virgin Radio, good pals.
