The Wailin Jennys record new album
By The Wailin' Jennys
Folk trio The Wailin Jennys have been busy wrapping up the recording of their follow up to 2005 JUNO Award-winning debut 40 Days. Working again with acclaimed producer David Travers-Smith (Jane Siberry, Veda Hille), The Jennys have been recording in Toronto and at home at Winnipegs Private Ear Recording. A release date for the album is not yet set. 40 Days was named Roots & Traditional Album of the Year (Group) at the Juno Awards in April. Recently back from a photo shoot in New York City and tour dates across Canada and the United States, The Jennys will set off for a tour of England and Australia later this month.
