Kids Not Souring on Illegal Filesharing

Posted on

According to a new report by the NPD Group, the majority of kids today are getting their music from the interweb. Apparently, most are using legal pay-to-download stores like iTunes (which makes up 49% of the kid market). But coming in second is 26% of kids are using Limewire, which allows for kids to share music freely and illegally. MySpace comes in third at 16%.

By the way... remember Napster? The kids don't. Personally, I think Limewire is beating out everyone because of its pretty, soothing logo.
