Manitoba Music is teaming up with Synonym Art Consultation to help bring this year's Wall-To-Wall festival to a close. Live music, visual art, multimedia will collide at the Winnipeg Centre Vineyard at 782 Main Street for Nuit Blanche and the launch of the Rainbow Trout Bike Jam on October 1, 2016.

Free and open to the public, this year's live music lineup on the MB Live Main Stage features a stellar slice of local talent starting at 6PM. Emerging indie pop/R&B darling Begonia, the new project from Chic Gamine's Alexa Dirks, headlines the outdoor show, which also features hip hop trio 3Peat, fresh from the launch of its new album. The young rappers from Studio 393, the Graffiti Art Programming Inc.'s youth-led arts studio will kick off the event while the DJs and dancers of On The One Collective will keep the music going all night with The Red Bull Sugga, which will be part of a moving light installation titled NU-HAUL by Inthemiddle.

The event will be the official unveiling of Winnipeg's newest works by Bruno Smoky & Shalak Attack and The PA System (with mentoring artist Parr Josephee). A collaborative graffiti mural will also be created during the show, along with youth arts programming with local artist Jessica Canard.

Launched in 2014 by local arts initiative Synonym Art Consultation, Wall-To-Wall is a mural and culture festival that takes place in Winnipeg every year at the end of September. It sees the creation of multiple indoor and outdoor murals across the city and celebrates each new work of art with unique events. The festival culminates with a huge block party that coincides with Nuit Blanche, bringing together diverse communities around art, music, dance, and more. This year Wall-to-Wall is in full partnership with Graffiti Art Programming and North End Community Renewal Corporation.

Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is a free all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art that takes place on the Saturday of the Culture Days weekend from dusk to dawn. Held annually since 2010, the event attracts thousands of people to the heart of the city. Artists, galleries, cultural organizations, and independent curators create and host their own events spread across three zones of activity: St. Boniface, Downtown, Exchange District and this year, the North End.

This event is in partnership with The City of Winnipeg, Manitoba Arts Council, Manitoba Music, The ALT Hotel, Sherwin Williams, Red Bull, The Rainbow Trout Music Festival Bike Jam, Graffiti Art Programming, and North End Community Renewal Corporation.
