Four Manitoba Acts to Hit the Stage at Cameron House

Manitoba Music is hitting one of Canada’s premiere music industry festivals, North by Northeast (NXNE), in June for a showcase of buzzworthy local talent. A genre-spanning crop of Manitoba acts have been tapped for the event at Cameron House on June 12.

Manitoba Music will take over the Queen St W haunt to spotlight new music from the prairie province, including synthy R&B act ATLAAS, thoughtful alt-indie trio Slow Spirit, energy-infused pop-rock country act Tyler Del Pino, and introspective pop singer/songwriter Field Guide.

Manitoba Music has a long history of presenting packed showcases and industry events at NXNE, spanning two decades. This year's event marks a return to NXNE, offering the Manitoba performers at the fest the opportunity to connect with fans and key business contacts in one of Canada's most important national music industry centres.

Intensifying trade activity in existing music markets is a key component of Manitoba Music's export and business development activities. Through events like these, Manitoba Music is able to increase the level of awareness and connection between our province’s music industry and the broader national and international industry, which is vital to the career advancement of Manitoba artists and industry professionals. This event is supported by Manitoba Film & Music.

Over the years, Manitoba Music has presented successful showcases at major music industry events throughout Canada, the U.S., England, and Germany, including The Great Escape, Reeperbahn Festival, Folk Alliance International, and more.
