Feedback, July 17 | Meet the Mentors

Build your music community. Meet your mentors.
Looking to make connections, grow your community, and learn more about the music industry? We've launched Feedback, a new monthly networking, mentorship, and community-building event. It’s a safe space for Manitoba Music members to get guidance from local industry professionals and an opportunity to share thoughts and exchange ideas with music peers and other members.
For this open house-style event, we'll be inviting music industry mentors from different backgrounds and experiences to hang out, answer questions, and provide folks with some guidance. Join us!

Billy Simard

His songs have reached the top 10 on the Hotdisc Top 40 Charts in the UK peaking at #2. Recently he has signed a publishing administration deal with Birthday Cake/Warner Canada. His personal experiences as an indie artist have resulted in an in-depth knowledge of songwriter/performance royalties and other facets of releasing songs nationally and internationally. He grew up in an isolated community with no running water or electricity listening to an old battery-powered radio that instilled a lasting love for the music he heard.
