Alexander Grant

About

Alexander Grant is a local Canadian musician and songwriter dedicated to creating Christian music. He began writing and producing music in 2015 and was originally signed to Redeeming Music Label in 2013, where he released two albums: Presence (2015) and The Woods (2017).

In 2018, Alexander took on the leadership of Bread We Break, one of the largest non-denominational Christian gathering ministries in Western Canada. Under his leadership, the band released their second EP, Take One (2021).

In 2019, he collaborated with Blake Peters under the band name Enoch, independently releasing the album Made for Love.

Most recently, in 2024, Alexander was invited to join Royal Anthems, a worship music collective in Toronto. As part of this initiative, he participated in a three-day songwriting workshop alongside 22 other Christian artists from across Canada. Two of the songs he co-wrote, Be Enthroned and We Will Not Forget Your Ways, have since been released.

Currently, Alexander is working on a new independent project, exploring what he calls alternative worship music. Blending elements of pop, electronic, and R&B, he aims to push the boundaries of traditional Christian worship music, offering a fresh and innovative approach to faith-based artistry.
